    It’s not just social media Australia is behind in!

    The lead generation/nurturing activities and practices I was implementing for companies into the US 3-4 years ago are still not in “main stream” use here in Australia.

    AU corporates are way behind their US counterparts in lead generation, nurturing and management approaches. Another opportunity neglected.

    Risk and its mitigation is unfortunately overshadowing the major benefits of an integrated social media strategy for corporates at the moment. But the tide is turning.

    Having spoken to 100’s of Australian marketers about this over the past 6 months, I’m certain that 2010 will be the tipping point for corporates implementing social media campaigns & programs.
